An offer to see nude pictures of the Twilight actress Ashley green should be passed over,because it leads ro a compromised website.

A trojan horse targeted at macs can change the DNS(Domain name server) settings iof infected computers.

It poses as the Maccinema Installer and prompts you to install an update in order to view video files,it alters the DNS settings to redirect you to malware infected websites.

Emails purporting to be from the HM revenue and customs(HMRC) contains a pdf asking for your bank details.

Football ticket touters websites

Such sites are illegal because it is against the law to deter hooligans.

A lot of tickets are also fraudulent.

Malware mentioning the Swine Flu has been circulating.

Called Novel H1N1 Flu Situation Update.exe,it arrives in emails and poses as a word document.
If opened, it installes a keylogger in your computer system.

Adobe flash has a flaw that can be exploited by hackers.

Apple has released a patch to protect its iphone operating system against a flaw.

African websites slowed by computer viruses

It is estimated that 80% of computers in Africa are infected by computer viruses,trojan horses etc etc.

In May, the congress of south african trade unions found its websites was spreading vuruses to its visitors.

Pirated software often comes with viruses installed.

Some reckoned that linux is a better operating system to prevent viruses entering computers.

Personally ,I might avoid african websites.
